Social Post Scheduling
Automate your social media posts for Instagram and Facebook, planned and published on your schedule.
Schedule Your Social Media Posts
NovaStores allows you to plan and schedule your product announcements and AI-generated creatives to Instagram and Facebook ahead of time.
Create a New Scheduled Post
- From your dashboard, navigate to the Social Content Schedule.
- Click the Schedule Post button to open the scheduling form.
- Select Platforms: Choose which social media accounts you want to post to. Tick 'Facebook Page' and/or 'Instagram Account'. If a platform is not connected, it will be grayed out.
- Choose Source Type:
- Select Standard Product to pick an item directly from your store's product catalog. Click 'Change Product' and use the selector to find your product.
- Select AI Generated Post to choose from social media creatives previously generated by the NovaStores AI. A grid of available images will appear. Click an image to select it. The caption will automatically fill with product details and a link.
- Customize Post Content: Edit the text and hashtags as needed. The AI-generated content provides a great starting point.
- Schedule Time: Use the calendar and clock to pick the exact date and time you want your post to go live. This time is in your store's local timezone.
- Click the Schedule Post button at the bottom of the modal to confirm.
Your post will now appear on the Social Content Schedule page with a 'scheduled' status.
Manage Scheduled Posts
On the Social Content Schedule page, you can see all your upcoming and past posts:
- View Status: Each post card displays its current status (e.g., 'scheduled', 'posted', 'failed').
- Edit Post: Click the 'Edit Post' icon (pencil) on a scheduled post to modify its platforms, content, or schedule time. You cannot edit posts that are currently 'posting' or already 'posted'.
- Publish Now: For scheduled or draft posts, you can click 'Publish Now' to send them immediately to the publishing queue.
- Delete Post: Click the 'Delete Post' icon (trash can) to remove a scheduled post. You cannot delete a post that is actively 'posting'.
- View Live: Once a post has successfully published, a 'View Live ↗' link will appear, taking you directly to your published post on the social media platform.
